Wrong Turn is a personal side project I created to fill the time between school and work. Written entirely in object-oriented C# and developed exclusively in Unity, this tech demo presents a creepy night diorama of a fatal mishap in the mountains. Although game development does not directly align with my current or future roles, this project was a valuable learning experience.
I deepened my understanding of programming concepts taught in several ITSS classes at the Cumberlands and expanded my development toolkit. Furthermore, learning Unity has taught me practical techniques for navigating scattered documentation and understanding large software systems. Debugging and integrating software dependencies were also key skills required to complete this project, all of which can be transferred to system administration.
